WHAT EVERY CROSSMATH GIVES YOU

Practice that checks itself.

Always a place to startThere is always a sum with only one box missing, and each answer opens up the next. Every sum has at least one gap.
Sums that check each otherSums meet on a shared number, so an answer that is wrong across will not work down either. Pupils catch their own slips.
As hard as you needLeave a third, half or two thirds of the numbers empty, with 4 to 16 sums on the sheet. Boxes shrink so every size fills one page.

Crossmath maker questions

Is the crossmath maker free?

Yes. There is no AI in it, so making, shuffling and printing a crossmath never uses a generation. A free account adds the answer key on page two.

Which grades does it cover?

Grades 1 to 5: adding and taking away within 20 in grade 1, up to three-digit sums with carrying, two-digit multiplication and division by numbers up to 15 in grade 5.

Is there an answer key?

Yes, on page two: the same grid with every missing number filled in green.

Can the sheet use : instead of ÷?

Yes. The division sign starts from the language the studio is in, and you can switch it under More options.
