WHAT EVERY MAZE GIVES YOU

Practice that checks itself.

One right door from every boxEach box on the path has exactly one door showing its answer. A wrong answer leads somewhere else, so a pupil soon knows to check again.
Wrong doors that teachThe other doors are near misses: one more or less, the next fact in the table, or the wrong operation.
Harder as they growDiagonal doors from grade 3 give more ways to go wrong. Small, medium and large grids each fill one page.

Math maze maker questions

Is the math maze maker free?

Yes. There is no AI in it, so making, shuffling and printing a maze never uses a generation. A free account adds the answer key on page two.

Which grades does it cover?

Grades 1 to 5: adding and taking away within 20 in grade 1, up to three-digit sums with carrying, two-digit multiplication and division by numbers up to 15 in grade 5.

Is there an answer key?

Yes, on page two: the route shaded from START to FINISH, with a small number in each box, so you can say exactly where a pupil went wrong.

Can the sheet use : instead of ÷?

Yes. The division sign starts from the language the studio is in, and you can switch it under More options.
